The Akka toolkit and runtime enables us to go Reactive (see
www.reactivemanifesto.org) by building scalable and resilient applications. In this session we introduce Akka's most important tool, the actor model, and show how you can use it to easily build applications that scale up and out and handle failure in a self-healing way. Be prepared to see a lot of Scala code and live demos.
